"In 2006 whilst on sabbatical God gave me a clear call to go to the nations" - Pastor John King

After serving at the Vale of Evesham christian Centre for over 25years God has placed a new calling on Johns life. As the calling to love the nations continues to develop both John and the church are anticipating its potential and are looking forward to what God might do.

God has currently opened up an opportunity in Uganda. John has visited the country a number of times over recent years and has built a good friendship with Bishop Arnold Muwonge. Arnold Muwonge is a visionary leader, a prophetic voice to the nations, the founder and Director of NDE Network a ministry dedicated to discipleship, equipping church leaders and community transformation throughout the world.

Pastor John in Uganda

Love The Nations currently has the following four aims for Uganda:

  1. To preach and teach in a variety of churches throughout the country.
  2. To encourage, empower and equip Pastors through Leaders' Conferences of between 200 - 800 Pastors.
  3. To mentor new Pastors. Uganda is experiencing rapid church growth with churches led by new inexperienced Pastors. John has recently been asked to be an associate Pastor for N.D.E. to help support this work.
  4. To help support and assist Kampala Children's Centre.

The vision: "To house, educate and care for at least 1000 orphans from within Uganda. To give a safe and loving environment to at least 1000 children from war torn areas, slums and AIDS affected families."
