A year of serving the communities that we, the church, are called to reach. We no longer want the church to be a well-kept secret; we want it to surface on everyone's agenda. We have consulted many churches and they are saying that the time is right to take a step of faith and see what God, through his Spirit, will do. Hope 08 is designed to serve as a catalyst to encourage, support and resource UK churches to do just that, and help them to continue working in their community’s long term. Hope 08 is an opportunity like we have never had before, to work together, as a body of Christ - to witness a move of the Spirit that we never dreamt was possible: The church coming out of the shadows and serving, loving and changing the world in the name of Jesus. The Vale of Evesham Christian Centre believes this potential can be realized. We invite you to join us in making it a year we won't forget. The Calendar Five high points of activity have been identified to give the year shape and clear structure: January Fresh Hope is an opportunity to make a fresh start, with lifestyle courses and sessions to pioneer the way. Easter Big Hope will have a strong emphasis on Holy Week, exploring the centrality of Christ and the Cross. May Hope Where You Live is church on the street over the month of May. June Family Fun day September Cannon and Ball. September Hope Explored is when the local community will be invited to explore the Christian faith through Alpha, Emmaus, Just Looking, Christianity Explored. December The Gift of Hope will have a strong focus on Christmas, highlighting the real meaning behind the festivities. For more information please go to our "events" page.
